Underwater scenes and aquariums are really one of my major hobbies - so I had a lot of fun with this one. Included in the background are: A porcupine puffer (yay!), a moray eel, a maroon clownfish, a tomato clownfish, a mandarin dragonet (another of my favorites), yellow polyps, maiden's hair algae, anemone and brain coral. One of the most fun parts about painting undersea scenes is the exaggerated atmospheric perspective (how quickly things turn to blue receding in space) Done in acrylic paints on 11"x14" illustration board.
